"There is no doubt that any time we return to Grenada we will be staying at Twelve Degrees North. In fact, we liked it so much that we extended our stay here during this trip." Trip Advisor

Grenada: "Twelve Degrees North: Sun, Sea, and Calm"

"What a wonderful vacation and in such a wonderful resort! On the island of Grenada we stayed at Twelve Degrees North and shared a large apartment with another couple. All of us deeply appreciated the delightful accommodations, fine service, quiet, calm atmosphere, and recreational facilities on the sea front. I did read all the reviews of this resort before coming down and was amused at folks who slighted the resort because it wasn't more like a Club Med set-up. For us, the wonder of Twelve Degrees North is that it is indeed a resort for privacy, a place for personal reflection, and a fine spot for quiet recreations like snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, reading, and conversation. Each of us felt the need to put aside momentarily our busy, rather hectic life at home, and, fortunately, Twelve Degrees North provided the perfect respite. We all plan to return next year and share, once again, the beauty of this extraordinary resort. Our sincere thanks to Mr. Joseph Gaylord for creating and managing gracefully Twelve Degrees North.

An "Andrew Harper" Hideaway Report” Twelve Degrees North

Indianapolis, Indiana
Feb 13, 20013 | Trip type: Couples

"... My husband and I stayed here for two weeks in part of January and February, 2008. The hotel is located in a upscale residential neighborhood not far from St. George's. It is small in size but large in service. As a regular traveler to the Caribbean, I can tell you I would much rather have great service than a flat screen plasma television or turn-down chocolates. This hotel is for the traveler who has been there. You know the sort of hotel I am speaking of where you have mediocre food, service staff that do not care if you are treated with special care and just that general feeling that you are unwelcome or a special VIP guest. Twelve Degrees North has none of these faults. Each room has a maid who takes care of your room every day. She will make all your meals, do your laundry and keep your room tidy. The hotel is located on a hill with great views of Prickly Bay. The hotel has a pool and a small beach/deck area right on the water. The property has beautiful flowering trees, and flowers scattered throughout. The owner of the property is extremely helpful in arranging whatever excursion you would like. His knowledge of Grenada and its history are valuable when planning any sort of day trip into the interior of the island. My husband and I have been traveling together to the Caribbean for the past 15 years. This property is the first hotel we have returned to. I rely upon trip advisor when making all my trips and have enjoyed each place I have chosen because they have been small, intimate hotels. Twelve Degrees North has that little extra special something that sets it a little bit apart of the others. The only thing I am left to wonder is if I have accidently run into Andrew Harper at either one of my visits?
